I love Halloween and the Fall. Halloween because I love seeing what costumes are popular each year. In addition, it’s a time of year when your imagination gets to totally run away with you and no one cares or is threatening to put you in the loony bin. I love the Fall because of the change in season. Finally it begins to cool down and it’s that perfect time of year where you don’t need your air conditioner or your heater yet. I also enjoy it because it’s football season and let’s face it, who doesn’t love a good game between your favorite teams.

I love that you can start having warm comfort food ( chili, soup, ect) and drinking hot chocolate or tea. I guess you can eat and drink this all year but in the summer it just feels crazy to warm yourself up more lol

favorite about Halloween is the kids in their costumes and for fall I do love the cooler days, but I also know living up in the north winter will be here soon, which makes me a little sad

I love Halloween with my family. We start off the night with a special dinner of Mummy Dogs (hot dogs wrapped like mummies in crescent rolls with relish for glowing green eyes and ketchup with a mustard cobweb for dipping and some type of spooky dessert. Then we take our son trick-or-treating. My job is to walk with him in costume that compliments his. Daddy’s job is to carry the flashlight and the backpack with our water bottles (we live in AZ so it can still be kind of warm, especially in costume) and space to empty Michael’s treat bag into when it gets too full. Then it’s time to get our boy home and in bed for school in the morning and for us to go through every piece of candy with a fine tooth comb (and pull out a few choice pieces we each want).
My birthday is in November, so that’s my favorite thing about fall.
I love taking my kids out trick or treating and seeing all of the costumes!
